Apple-first beta

A release inbox for the artists and labels you actually follow.

Artist Releases is a focused music workflow for DJs, producers, curators, and heavy listeners who do not want to miss releases from their own watched sources.

First workflow

Apple Music first. Spotify and SoundCloud later.

The first beta keeps the scope narrow: add Apple Music artists or labels, review new and upcoming releases, and mark what has been handled.

  1. Add an Apple Music artist or label source.
  2. Track releases in New, Upcoming, and Reviewed.
  3. Keep user follows and decisions isolated.
  4. Expand to Spotify and SoundCloud after the core workflow proves useful.

Release inbox

Sign in with email to save followed sources and reviewed releases in Supabase. Without sign-in, the prototype uses this browser only.

Local mode 0 sources 0 releases

Magic link auth uses the Artist Releases Supabase project.

Provider validation comes next.

Uses your signed-in session and the same source-follow flow as the single add form.

New releases

Why it exists

Recommendations are not coverage.

Streaming platforms are good at suggesting music. Artist Releases is built for a different job: showing what the artists and labels you deliberately follow released recently, without turning the inbox into a broad recommendation feed.

Build status

Private prototype proven. Standalone product starting.

The standalone product is now separate from Personal-OS and will use its own repository, runtime, and database boundary.
